India's strature and perception in the world

"Rarest of all human quality is consistency".

Hi friends, today I would like to share the topic regarding India's Strature and perception in the world. Please go through it and give your feed back. Friends in this essay i want to share how does the rest of the world see india and what they think about india as it is the largest constitutional democracy in the world, so many countries follows our constitution. India is the 4th largest economy and it is emerging as a super power in the world. We have abundant natural resources and man power. India is one of the largest producer of IT professionals in the world, and growth in each and every field like IT sector, pharmacy, science and technology (ISRO launches), Sports, agriculture, manufacturing, automobiles etc.. we have great military forces.

These all are one side of the coin but on the other side India have more challenges on Poverty,  low income, no control on greenhouse effect, pollution, population, slums, treatment of poor, inherent racism, sexual harassments and attacks on vulnerable groups etc.. are some which are not appreciated but criticised across the globe. These are my thoughts and openion on this topic friends, follow the updates and prepare well.

Topic: India happens to be a rich country inhabited by very poor people
India was the richest country on earth until the time of British invasion in early 17th century. Over 5000 years ago when many cultures were only Nomadic Forest Dwellers, Indians had already established Harppa Culture in Sindh Valley (Indus valley civilization) World’s first university was established in Takshashila in 700 BC. India was the only source of diamonds until 1896, according to gemological institute of America. Anesthesia was in use in ancient India. Over 125 surgical instruments were used in ancient India. Calculus, Trigononmetry and Algebra also came from India. Hence, Albert Einstein once said, We Owe a lot to the indians, Who Thought us how to count without which no worthly Scientific Discovery Could be made.
Despite India being Rich in Heritge, Rich in Culture, Rich in Traditions, Rich In Mineral Resources, Rich In Agriculture Land. Human Resources, Demographic Dividend, Youth  in World are still struggling to fulfill their basic day to day requirements, like health, education, sanitation, clean drinking water etc.
We  have vast Natural Resources By The Nature,  But We Have Not  Been Able To Trace All These Resources. As a Result Lesser Production,  Low Income,  Low Productivity  and  Low Standard Of  Living and The Resultant Vicious Cycle Of  Poverty Obtain. Thus, The problem lies not with the scarcity of resources but with the concentration of  resources. A major part of wealth in India is accumulated by a small group of people.
For instance - India is home to world’s fourth highest number of  billionaires and The number of millionaires is expected to reach 3,72,000. While wealth has been rising in India,  not everyone has shared in this growth. This is a serious problem which has intensified even more after globalization.
Mahatma Gandhi Also Emphasis, The Rich Must Live More Simply. So That Poor May Simply Live
It is true that the wealth of India has increased manifolds since globalization but the reality is that it has been accumulated by a small population of the country,  a large population is still deprived of any substantial benefits to be drawn from globalization. Although with the technological revolution, poor are also getting hold of the latest technologies coming in the market but they are still lagging behind the richer section and their overall conditions has not improved much. There is no doubt that economic reforms of 1991 has done wonders for the country. We have come a long way from the stagnating economy, growing at the snail pace of about 2-3% every year before the reforms.
But has the reforms achieved it’s targeted results is the question, yet to be answered. Unfortunately, since departure of the colonial British in 1947 all economic development has taken place in the cities, while the majority of the population lives in the countryside. We can see the case of  Jarkhand. It is amongst the largest accumulator of natural resources in India but is also amongst the poorest state in terms of  both economy and other social indicators like health and education.
Crony Capitalism, Dominance of agriculture, Technological backwardness, Inequality in distribution of income, Low level of human development,  High unemployment, Shortage of capital, Lack of entrepreneurship ignorance from government are some of the reasons why People Of  India  Are  Inhabitaed  By Poor. There is no doubt that India is a rich country in terms of natural resources, demography etc. But the tag of poor cannot be removed untill the benefits will not reach upto the bottom of the pyramid.
India has been a land of sages and great thinkers of the ancient and contemporary ages. For instance--
Indian girls are on top of Miss universe and Miss world in recent years, The silicon valley (California)  is dominated by Indians and Indian companies, The creater of  Pentium chips Mr.Vinod Dham  is an Indian. They have brought great name to the country. We have all the potential to become a great nation but the  Corruption, Illegal Mining, Poverty at all levels is pulling us down. India ranking also high in the list of most corrupt nations of the world which is 79th out of 176 countries. We see these scams on a daily basis and it is being covered extensively by all kinds of media. The politicians have been exposed for their corruption and are being made accountable for the illegal possessions. Still there is no benefit for the poor (BPL)  citizen of this “Rich Nation”. Farmers still face problems with unseasonal rains, floods, drought and electricity.
India dreams to develop into a superpower but a third of the world’s poor still lives here. India is one of the fastest developing economies in the world but also a home to the largest number of malnourished children. Majority of India lives in villages and at the same time rural India is facing the hardship of poverty much harder than urban India. Though India is growing economically but the growth of this kind is creating two much demarcated societies - one poor and another rich. Prevailing poverty and hunger continue to haunt the economic growth and making it further slow.
As Said, No Country Can Truly Develop If  Half  Its  Population Left Behind.
Hence,  Besides wealth creation, preserving jobs, respecting profits, moving away from an agrarian society to investment of time and effort in education, health, technology, sports, entertainment, banking, insurance, travel, tourism and so much more, increasing competition, cultivating entrepreneurship to add dynamism in the society, encouraging foreign investment and trade will also lead to ‘conscious capitalism’, an amazing vehicle for social cooperation and change.
As Observed By, Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam “India Should Walk On Her Own Shadow-We Must Have Our Own Development Model”.
India needs great political leaders to push the nation in a forward direction. Productivity and how to use human resource for the productivity must be focused. India must educate its every child so that a resource can be added. India must have a clear economic vision and a great system is place to execute  this. Confused  ideologies must be separated from the clear-cut and result oriented ones. India must be free from corruption to become Rich not in terms of as a Nation but also as a Inhabitation.
