how to write an essay?:

The topics are unknown to us before the exam and we are expected to apply all that we have learnt to produce a logical and intelligent manner of what is being asked. That is why, one can’t prepare for essays in the conventional sense After accepting the unpredictable nature of essay evaluation by UPSC, how can we be sure about any strategy? We can’t and in fact we aren’t. If you keep in mind the following points, you can definitely better your prospects in essay.

It simply means the representation of all the dimensions that are related closely to the topic being asked. In doing so, most aspirants keep throwing unnecessary points and that can annoy the examiner. The best thing to do in such a scenario is to write all your thoughts in pointers at the space provided for rough work
After you are done with your own thoughts and written all the possible points, think about the syllabus now. For this, a prerequisite is that you must have learnt the syllabus by heart. Having said so, let us now understand as to how you can use the syllabus to create points for your essay.
It is important to note that not all your points need find a mention in the essay. You can trim the points and in fact eliminate the irrelevant ones to make your essay crisp and close to the central argument.
 ESSAY ON INTERNAL SECURITY:
TOPIC: Communalism

what is Communalism: why it is Biggest threat to india’ s internal security
Communalism, is referred in the western world as a theory or system of government in which virtually autonomous local communities are loosely in federation. Communalism is a political philosophy, which proposes that market and money be abolished and that land and enterprises to be placed in the custody of community. But in the Indian sub-continent context, communalism has come to be associated with tensions and clashes between different religious communities in various regions.
Communalism in South Asia is used to denote the differences between the various religious groups and difference among the people of different community. And generally it is used to catalyse communal violence between those groups.
Evolution of communalisn in India
If you see our ancient India there was no such thing existed in India. They were live freely and without any communal system and live peacefully, there were everyone accepting the other culture and tradition like Ashoka followed religious tolerance and followed dhamma. In Medieval period, we have examples such as Akbar, who was epitome of secular practices and believed in propagating such values by abolishing Jijiya tax and starting of Din-I-ilahi and Ibadat Khana. Same acceptance for different cultures and tradition was practised in several kingdoms throughout India, because of which there was peace and harmony, barring few sectarian rulers like Aurangzeb, who was least tolerant for other religious practises. But, such motives were guided purely for their personal greed of power and wealth.
Actual communalism begin in end of 19th century and beginning of 20th century with Bengal partition in 1905. Where Britisher adopt strategy to make separate Hindu and Muslim in the name of communalism to achieve their goals. But despite strong commitment India achieved it's Indepedence in 1947.
After 70 years of Independent still we are having strong threat in the name of communalism and between this seven decades we have face many communalism threat like Partition of India in 1947, Anti Sikh rigs in 1984, Kashmiri pundit voilence in 1989, Babri masjid demolition in 1992, Assam communal voilence 2012 and muzzfa nagar voilence 2013 and even though today we also celebrate the Black day and in the name of Leaders.
How this communalism is threat to India
Consequences of communalism is well known to all of us. With killings in mass, the real sufferers are the poor, they lose their house, their near and dear ones, their lives, their livelihood, etc. It violates the human rights from all direction. Sometimes children will lose their parents and will become orphan for life time and nobody will be there to look after them.

Even though it's not only effects on constitutional value which promotes secularism, intolerence in India. In that case, citizens don’t fulfil their fundamental duties towards the nation. It becomes a threat for the unity and integrity of the nation as a whole. It promotes only the feeling of hatred in all directions, dividing the society on communal lines.
India has wide variety of people and they believe in different traditional and culture, caste, religion since minority will also effects from communal voilence by various forces for example, Recently ongoing voilence against the Myanmar Rohingya issue where most of the refuse get harnesses, violate their rights and they become victim of these livelihood and separated from economic and society.
What measure have been taken by Govt and States:

1. Human right commision in India and every state to protect the right of human and voilence agaist the their right.
2. Constitutional right and duty like right to equality under article 14 to 18, right to conduct religous affairs under article 29 and it's also has duty of the person to protect and respect every religion and community.
3. International agreement with UN to predict and preserve the right of the people.
Whats need to be done:

Govt are not only responsible for this type of activity but legislation, our Judiciary, administration and we people are also responsible to overcome this problem since we must see every community is equal in front of law, legislation and us.

Each of us, have to make a balance between our own religious community and national interests, we have to unite with nationalism, and then should move forward. The teachings of a religious community may be great, but the followers of the community concerned should understand that nationalism is greater. If they do not become familiar with this fact, they will be away from national stream; they will suffer. This fact relates not only to India but also to many other countries of the world. We have to be rational while making decisions. Each and every religious community has been founded on the basis of certain values that were best and necessary for circumstances of the country and times.

Goodness like adjustment with others, or co-operation, or consistency can be found in their teachings. But by not moving according to the teachings of their religious community those who depend upon fundamentalism and conservative practices, or those who use their co-religionists taking advantage of their poverty, illiteracy or innocence, are dishonest towards their own self, their co-religionists and also towards those great leaders who founded the religious community.
